Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts to this journal. All submissions are first assessed by an editor for fit with the journal’s aims and scope. Suitable manuscripts are sent for peer review before a decision to accept or reject is made.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included in the submission (e.g., photos, documents, and datasets), and all listed authors must consent to being identified as authors. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study’s country.

Editors may desk reject submissions that do not meet minimum quality standards. Please ensure that the study design and research argument are well structured, the title is concise, and the abstract can stand on its own. When your submission meets these standards, please follow the checklist below.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Pendidikan Labschool must follow the journal’s writing guidelines and manuscript template. The template is available at: https://s.id/JPL-MANUSCRIPT-TEMPLATE
  • Submitted manuscripts must have been checked for plagiarism using Turnitin. The similarity index must not exceed 30%, and the Turnitin report must be attached when submitting the manuscript.
  • The abstract must not exceed 250 words and should cover the whole content of the manuscript, including the background, objective, method, results, and conclusion.
  • In-text citations must follow the APA style, 7th edition.
  • References must be managed with a reference manager (Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote). Every reference listed in the reference list must be cited in the text.
