Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum was introduced to improve the quality of education by providing flexibility in curriculum implementation to suit the characteristics and needs of students. This study aims to develop a differentiated learning strategy for Informatics using the 4D model, tailored to the VAK learning styles and RIASEC career interests for Grade X students at SMA Kartika XIX-1 Bandung. The 4D model comprising the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate was chosen for its simplicity and time efficiency in development. Analysis showed that among 36 students, 53% had a visual learning style, 30% auditory, and 17% kinesthetic. Meanwhile, career interests were dominated by the Social category (28%) and Conventional (22%). The implementation of a learning strategy based on learning styles and career interests showed significant results, with the effectiveness of learning for the topic of data source validity reaching 90% for visual learners, 89% for auditory, and 93% for kinesthetic. For the topic of data structure concepts, the effectiveness reached 89% for visual, 91% for auditory, and 90% for kinesthetic learners. These findings highlight the importance of aligning learning strategies with the individual characteristics of students to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of learning within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum.
